Languages & translations

Workspace languages for ticket config labels, the portal and events.

Settings → Languages controls which languages the workspace supports for tenant-authored strings: ticket type names, statuses, priorities, field labels, and similar config copy — and which languages events can be offered in.

What gets translated

LayerSource
Portal chrome (“New request”, empty states, …)Product UI catalogs (e.g. German default + English)
Ticket types / statuses / fieldsWorkspace config + translations you maintain (or AI-assisted, when enabled)

Portal locale

The portal negotiates locale from browser / user preference against the workspace’s enabled languages. Users can often switch EN / DE (or other enabled codes) in the portal chrome.

Events

An event is written in one of these languages and can be translated into the others — title, description, programme, registration form, announcement and image descriptions. Visitors see the event in their language, and registrants get their emails in the language they registered in. Buttons, notices and emails exist in German and English. Details: Events → Languages.

Removing a language here doesn't delete event translations; they stay until someone changes that event's languages.

Staff UI language

Staff dashboard copy is separate from portal catalogs. Config labels the team configures still appear in the language the staff user is viewing when translations exist.
