Workspace shape

How a workspace is structured: companies, users, settings, domains.

A workspace (also called tenant / company in older docs) is one SolutionDesk customer — one host SaaS platform. It has a slug and lives at /{slug} in the app.

Boards

A workspace has one or more ticket boards, each with its own types, templates, statuses, priorities, labels and groups. Exactly one of them — Support, marked Visible to customers — reaches the portal, guest portals, the host integration and customer email. See Boards.

CRM (optional)

The CRM module keeps accounts, contacts and deals for sales and account management. It is for staff only and stays off until an admin switches it on. A CRM account can be linked to the support company it belongs to. See CRM.

White-label portal

MagicLinks usually open a custom domain so Acme never sees solutiondesk.io branding (optional discreet “Powered by…”). Pair the portal domain with an API domain when same-site cookies matter.

Guest portals

Optional guest portals let selected people access a narrow slice of tickets without a full MagicLink host integration — configured under Settings → Guest portals.
